Kaplan Thaler Group New York, New York

www.kaplanthaler.com

The Kaplan Thaler Group has built a reputation for advertising and marketing programs that are highly disruptive, forge strong emotional connections with consumers, become embraced by the culture, and get big results…fast. We call our philosophy “BANG! Communications,” an approach described in the book, “BANG! Getting Your Message Heard In a Noisy World,” written by our founders, Linda Kaplan Thaler and Robin Koval. A BANG! is an idea that causes a brand to explode into the marketplace virtually overnight.

First and foremost, we see ourselves as creative brand stewards. Developing creative that gets a brand’s message heard is job #1 for us. From the Aflac duck, to the new Wendy’s campaign, to the Swiffer work (and much, much more), we’ve built a reputation around creative that stands out and gets the consumer to engage on a deeper level with the brand.

That said, big creative ideas are nothing if they don’t drive results. Since day one, our focus has been on creative that actually makes a difference. Awards and accolades pale in comparison to our ability to extol the real-world successes of our creative thinking.

So let’s get the formal one out of the way... What agencies have you worked at? What roles?
Before joining the Kaplan Thaler Group, I worked at Deutsch from 2000-2009. I started out there in account management and worked my way up the ranks before switching over to Business Development in 2005, ultimately progressing to the SVP, Director level. Before that, I worked in account management at The Martin Agency (NYC office) from 1998-1999 and Mad Dogs & Englishmen from 1999-2000.
