Fuse is a youth culture marketing services agency that provides brand strategy, event marketing, PR, design, digital, and social media. The agency was founded in 1995, has approximately 30 employees, and provides services to mainly Fortune 500 companies including Pepsi, Gatorade, New Balance, Harley-Davidson and others.

We recently caught up with Bill Carter, Partner at Fuse Marketing in Burlington, VT. Fuse Marketing is one of the top marketing service firms in the teen and young adult youth culture category.

So, Bill, what has been your biggest surprise in new business since starting Fuse?

Almost without fail, before a prospect hires us they need to have been introduced and reintroduced to us multiple times through multiple tactics - a direct approach from us, some trade PR, or maybe a recommendation from a trusted colleague. The sum total of those introductions is what gets us in the door.
