After a total of 19 years at McCann, and the past five years as the Executive VP-Chief strategy officer and co-director of planning, John Kottmann is leaving McCann Erickson and assuming a new position with Ogilvy where he’ll participate in new business efforts at an agency that has traditionally avoided pitches.  John had tremendous success with the planning for Mastercard and the U.S. Army.
