Video of Bogusky’s Keynote at Mirren New Business Conference

On April 13th, Alex Bogusky of Crispin Porter + Bogusky addressed 400 agency executives at The 2010 Mirren New Business Conference. His topic: “If You’re Not Cheating, You’re Not Doing It Right.” To grow Crispin from 16 – 1000 people at a pace not seen by many agencies, meant breaking a few rules. If you follow the rules of new business - if you follow the same path of every other agency, you can expect the same mediocre results.

Mirren members can also get a copy of the presentation and a summary of the key points.

Please note that this video will be live only until Friday, May 7th.

Bogusky “Cheats” & Crashes Our Site
If you've been following @bogusky on Twitter today, you'll know he graciously provided a link to view a video of his Mirren keynote address.

However, the video link was actually for his eyes only. Living up to his Mirren keynote about "cheating", he tweeted the link out to the masses. Our servers then craaaaaashed. I didn't realize that servers still crashed in 2010.

So, I'm on the beach, on vacation in Mexico and... More

SPEAKER NOMINATIONS ARE NOW CLOSED.

Thank you for all your nominations.

We are on a hunt.

We are on the hunt for those agencies that are experiencing growth - and have done so by reinventing their agency.

Call them innovators. Call them visionaries. Call them rule-breakers. Call them bulldogs in their determination to grow. They will be front and center at The 2010 Mirren Business Development Conference in New York this April.

Whether it's creating new revenue streams,... More

Our Mirren Search Consultant Review closes fairly shortly now. We've had a good response from the industry, with some interesting insight into what's working and what can improve in terms of how search consultants and agencies work through the competitive review process.

Here are some responses to the question:

What are one or two of the single biggest trends you see taking place with Search Consultants and their impact on new business?

"Growing number of digitial AOR reviews." "They are setting less boundaries around... More
